What Causes An Episode Of Legs Giving Out Along With Severe Pain?
last week my wife was walking in the kitchen when her right leg gave out and she could not get back up. She has pain in her thigh and knee mostly. She cant lift her leg no more than about 2 off floor. There were no stroke symptoms on the rest of her body.

What is her age? Is she having diabetes, is hypertensive or is on any medication? As per your history, she is not able to lift leg with pain in the thigh suddenly, may be disc prolapse or sciatica. Get opinion from Ortho and Neuro doctors.
