What Causes An Eye Infection While Suffering From Sore Throat And Cold?

Day 7. Had an outrageous sore throat for 6 days. Along with a head cold. Then headache. Sinus problems. And now one eye is matted shut. Caught it on a flight from the Dominican Republic back to Montana. What do I need to do for the eye?? Conjunctivitis?? I have not been running a fever. If anything, it has been below normal. I have been down all week. I feel like I am down to a cold and this junk in my eye. What next?

Hi,

Consult an ophthalmologist and get evaluated.

You have to get eye drops. Avoid rubbing.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
