What Causes An Incomplete Abortion After Taking Cytotec?

My wife took Cytotec tablets after 4-weeks of her pregnancy. The tablets caused some cramps and mild bleeding for a day, it was not heavy bleeding marked by severe pain. A month after taking the Cytotec (Misoprostol) tablets we went to get an ultrasound. The senior doctor in ultrasound report wrote cardiac activity seen, enough amniotic fluid present and CRL 4.6 cms. Kindly advice

Hi I think the dose taken or the mode of intake of misoprostol was not correct. If you don't want pregnancy, consult a gynecologist for proper prescription. She may require a surgical evacuation. Hope it helps.
