What Causes An Increase In The Blood Pressure?
im 27 year old male is 16 stone 5 foot 11 and have blood presure of 157 over 96 there is a family history of high blood pressure its reading this presure daily and this is the daily averag reeding can u tell me if this needs to be investigated by a doctor please

You being an young hypertensive you ll first need evaluation for cause of blood pressure.
You should undergo test like kidney function test, renal artery Doppler, Sr cortisol and 24 hr Urinary metanephrines. Also get lipid profile and sugars tested.
Also, if your bp is persistently elevated above 140/90 then you should have medicine for it like Tab Amlodipine 5 mg once a day.
