What Causes An Infant S Feet To Turn Blue For A Short Period?

My kids and I were at the beach with my 4 month granddaughter. My daughter-in-law was feeding her. She was holding her while standing. Her legs were dangling down a little. Her legs turned purple but were not cold. After she was done eating she was changed and put to lay down on a blanket. Then she started getting these purplish spots on her legs. They are not raised and she was acting fine. Playing, laughing, cooing. Her usual happy self. She has also recently been introduced to baby food. She has had mangos recently.

Hello,

You have to see a pediatrician immediately as this could be due to the low blood supply to the legs which may occur in heart disorders also so please asap.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Harshita, Ophthalmologist
