My boyfriend has a bump on his back that is draining a pus looking liquid . He has cancer and is being treated with avastin right now the cancer cells went down so that stopped chemo and started avastin until the cancer cells goes back up. It s a little bigger than a quater he said its itching and hurt to lean back on the couch. He has no fever it doesn t smell like well nasty but has a little wierd smell but not nasty some blood is comking out with the pus as well. No fever but do you think i should try and get him to have it looked at by a doctor.
For an infected bump on the back take some antibiotic like cefadroxyl or zifi-cv after an expert opinion along with combiflam or ibugesic-plus for inflammation or pain. Do regular dressing under strict aseptic precautions along with some multivitamin tablets.
