Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I have a rash in a patch about the size of a half dollar on my right wrist. It just showed up on Tuesday night and it itches pretty bad. The rash consists of a patch of small little pimple like bumps that are very close together. If I squeeze the rash by folding the skin together, it weeps a clear liquid. The patch is slightly risen and pink from irritation. Any ideas?
From your explanation it looks like Eczema.. So my suggestion is to consult a Skin specialist and get clinically checked so that appropriate diagnosis can be made..
Keep the area clean and dry and maintain a good hygiene.. Avoid scratching the area as it can cause spread of the rash and infection.. If the itching is severe take benadryl to control it..
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Honey Arora, Dentist

What Causes An Itchy Rash On The Wrist?
Hi.. From your explanation it looks like Eczema.. So my suggestion is to consult a Skin specialist and get clinically checked so that appropriate diagnosis can be made.. For now you can apply a combination of steroid and antibacterial and antifungal ointment like Betnovate GM (Betamethasone, Gentamycin and Miconazole). Use candid dusting powder.
