What Causes An Itchy Rash On The Wrist?

Hello, I have a rash in a patch about the size of a half dollar on my right wrist. It just showed up on Tuesday night and it itches pretty bad. The rash consists of a patch of small little pimple like bumps that are very close together. If I squeeze the rash by folding the skin together, it weeps a clear liquid. The patch is slightly risen and pink from irritation. Any ideas?

Hi..

From your explanation it looks like Eczema..
So my suggestion is to consult a Skin specialist and get clinically checked so that appropriate diagnosis can be made..

For now you can apply a combination of steroid and antibacterial and antifungal ointment like Betnovate GM (Betamethasone, Gentamycin and Miconazole).
Use candid dusting powder.

Keep the area clean and dry and maintain a good hygiene..
Avoid scratching the area as it can cause spread of the rash and infection..
If the itching is severe take benadryl to control it..
