What Causes An Itchy Scalp Despite A Normal A1C Level?

Actually I do have a couple of questions. Number one Im 61 and have been diagnosed with diabetes but for now no medicine because its under control and back to normal A1C s level. I have been having a weird itching situation on the top of my head, no bugs nothing dr already checked that. But its from the top of my eye brows to the back of my head. The other part of the problem is my right eye. It itches almost all the time right at the nose. Sometimes putting eye drops in helps to relieve the situation. What are some things that could be wrong and could help it

You may be having allergy in your eye. You may use Flurbiprofen eye drops and wear shades. As far as scalp itching is concerned, if doctor has found no lesion, it must be idiopathic unless you are taking some medication which can cause that. Try taking Cyproheptadine for idiopathic allergy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ankit
