What Causes An Orange-brown Spot Under Foot?

An orangey-brown spot (almost rectangular in shape) appeared on the bottom of my foot. It seems to have happened overnight but I suppose it could ve happened longer then that as I do not normally inspect the soles of my feet. It doesn t itch or feel irritated at all, should i get this checked out?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I read carefully your query and understand your concern.

The symptoms seem to be related to a fungal infection.
I suggest using an antifungal cream for local application such as Clotrimazole cream.
I also suggest using Fluconazole 150 mg for three days.
I suggest to use cotton socks and maintain a good hygiene.

Hope my answer was helpful.

If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Kind regards!
