What Causes Anal Itching And Enlarged Prostate?
Hello I am in writing in reference to my 19 year old son; he has been complaining about an irritated anus & itchy at times he says it kinda feels like a hemmoroid has been using vaseline to sooth it. i took him to the dr and they stated his prostate was enlarged put him on antiobotics he started feeling better but then symptoms came back took him to our dr and put him on antiobotics again for a longer period was feeling better now seems like symptoms are back again. they stated the first time was possibly prostatitis could this be in such a young man; they also checked him for a hernia as he lifts weights.what would you suggest.

It may be due to worm infestation. For that, you may require tablet albendazole after surgeon consultation. Still, you may require proctoscopy examination. For itching, you can take tablet loratidine. Keep yourself hydrated.
