What Causes Anomic Aphasia Post A Spinal Surgery?

I had back surgery in March of this year. Forth and fifth lumbar fused together. Since then I have noticed a marked decrease in my ability to recall word s in normal conversation. The operation was over three hours long. Could this have any thing to do with my problem?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intracranial (inside the brain) causes.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
