What Causes Anxiety After Taking Seroquel And Cymbalta?

My husband is having panic attacks. He started seraquil 50 mg at night for sleep and is starting back on cymbalta 30 mg up to 60 today. Could either of these drugs cause anxiety?? Xanax helps for about 3 hours- taking .25 mg.. His dr is not in on the weekend..

Hi,

Seroquel and Cymbalta are medications which help in the treatment of anxiety. I don't think that any of these medications can cause anxiety symptoms. If the symptoms continue you should consult a psychiatrist for further evaluation ant treatment.
