What Causes Anxiety And Mood Swings While On Qlaira?

I have been on Qlaira BCP for a year plus now and seem to realise that I am losing quite a bit of weight. Also, have experienced anxiety and sudden sensitivity in mood. But my main issue is the weight problem as before I was on the pill, I was ok but I seem to have lost quite a bit now. I know most people would gain weight when on the pill but could it be like the one of the rare cases when one loses weight over time?

Hi, I think it can be a side effect of the mood swings and anxiety due to which you may not be eating well. Mood swings are very common side effects of birth control pills due to the progesterone present in it. You can try some yoga and meditation.
