I was working out this evening doing a simple 15mins on an elliptical. This was at 6:30pm. I fell asleep about 9:00pm and woke up at 1:30am with anxiety. I was under the impression that working out would help with anxiety so I m a bit confused. Salvatore
Hello, I am sorry that this happened. Unfortunately panic attacks (that is what it sounds like you had) can come out of the blue with no explanation in some people. Exercise will help reduce them if you do it regularly. If it becomes a frequent problem see your doctor for exam and testing to determine the cause and to seek treatments. regards
