What Causes Anxiety Attacks, Tight Chest And Shortness Of Breath While On Paxil?
My son has anxiety attacks and is presently experiencing unusual symptoms. He has tightness of his chest and shortness of breath. He is 37 years old and takes Paxil 30 MG for depression. Heart attack has been ruled out and he was given an inhaler but still gets the above symptoms. What might be a diagnosis for him?

The diagnosis itself is an anxiety or panic attack as such a presentation is commonly seen even with panic or anxiety attacks. Please schedule an appointment with his psychiatrist at the earliest.
