Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Impulsive Buying And Aggressiveness Post Delivery?
I am having some issues with anxiety, depression, stress, impulsive buying, and anger toward little things. I had a baby 6 months ago and I am just tired of feeling all of the above symptoms all of which were happening before he was born but seem to be worse or happening more often now.
It is common to feel like this and have these symptoms after delivering, so I would reassure that this is normal and many other women have the same condition. It is important that you talk with your doctor about these feelings, and discuss being started on a medication temporarily to help you manage and control these emotions. Fortunately, this condition is usually transient and you can recover completely from it.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Aaron Branch, General & Family Physician
