I have been taking 2 500 mg tablets every 5 to 6 hours. Along with oxycotin. at 10 p i left the oxy out. i had back surgery tues. as i am trying to sleep now i have the sensation that i am going to stop breathing. even though i am not breathing hard or my pulse is not high. so i am thinking i have too much ty. in me. i also jerk awake.
this OxyContin is a opioids medication.. it is used for severe pain. usually now a days it is not prescribed very much. all opioid medication depress ur respiratory centre. they all cause laboured breathing and even something complete respiratory depression .. also cause depression of heart so ur pulse can become weak.. and anxiety during use of OxyContin is due to excess serotonin ,, which is a hormone inside our body .. this is very rare but can be present as anxiety agitation etc..
