Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had an appendectomy (laproscopic) 2 weeks ago. I have a bigger than normal abdomen now, and zero appetite. I have to force myself to eat because there has been no hunger sensation... I would describe like I feel full all the time. My weight has gone down from 215 lbs before the surgery to 207 in two weeks. Is this something that goes away over time?
Hi Thanks for positng your query on HCM I have read and understood your concern There may not be a particular cause of appetite loss.I will advise you just try to eat even in bits. With time, your appetite will build up.Also, if symptom persists, an appetizer may help. Hope this will help. You may write back if more concerns Wish you a speedy recovery
