What Causes Appetite Loss Along With Lower Abdominal Pain?
My 58 year old brother has no appetite, no energy, lower stomach pain and headaches. He has had a colonoscopy, endoscopy, CT scan of stomach...everything is fine. He is 20 yr HIV positive and takes Epzicom 600/300 mg 1xdaily and Kaletra 200/50mg 2 tabs twice a day....t cells are 700 and viral load undetectable. He s gone off vitamin supplements and cholesterol med Atorvastatin. H. pylori has been ruled out as well as ulcer. He s been on heavy antacid meds but haven t helped. An additional problems is....He has been evaluated at Mayo Clinic for tremors that is not Parkinson s but he now cannot write with his right hand. He is on 120 mg 1Xdaily propranolol but cannot tolerate anymore. I think he s on Gabapentin 100 mg b.i.d. also. Thank you for any thoughts...right now the doctors don t have any answers. Sue Hook
