What Causes Appetite Loss And Vomiting While Suffering From Congestive Heart Failure?
My 96 yr old mother had mitral valve repair and pacemaker put in during the past few months. She now has no appetite, often gags and at times has thrown up when she eats. She is able to eat very selective foods only, most things do not appeal to her and she says the does not feel hungry. She also was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and is taking a blood thinner and a diuretic.

I have gone through the information provided by . See dear, as your mother is going through multiple Medical issues . The medicines she is taking to support her heart can cause loss of appetite and blood thinners like aspirins can cause gastritis and can lead to vomitings.
You can add some liver tonic Like Liv-52 from himalaya. If she doesn't respond to that then it's advisable to take her to the hospital as she probably needs ICU care.
