What Causes Appetite Loss And Weight Loss While On Medication For Mental Disorder?

My father is using medicine for fits and mental disorder from 3 years..I don t know what happened but now from last 2 weeks he is not able to eat anything and saying that anything is not going inside and stomach is burning like anything..he is also not attending nature call from one week..he became very thin and has decreased weight by 40 KGS ( initially he is 90).. though we used motion tablets and pantosic, eno for gas trouble ..there is no use ..what happened? What is the solution for this?
