I HAVE MY AUNTIE AND SHE IS 47 YEARS OLD SHE DIAGNOSE GASTRIC CARCINOMA STAGE 4 AND THE DOCTOR ADVISE HER TO GO CHEMOTHERAPY BUT SHE DONT LIKE TO DO IT...AND MY QUESTION IS WHY SHE DONT WANT TO EAT?WHAT DEURETICS CAN SHE DRINK ?AND MOSTLY SHE HAS A ASCITIES AND HER TUMMY IS BIG WHAT CAN WE DO TO HER STOMACH TO MAKE IT SMALL?I

gastric carcinoma stage 4 ,has very poor prognosis.
cancers cause loss of weight & appetite.
immunosupression from these diseases leads to decrease in haemoglobin, platelets, albumin in the body which leads to formation of ascitis, thus increasing the size of the abdomen.
spread of the cancer to other organs into malignancy can also be a possibility.
ascitic tapping with replacement fluids or albumin will help to some extent.
