What Causes Appetite Loss While On Medication For High Blood Pressure?
I have very decreased appetite, have one bottle of wine a day, am otherwise healthy. I am on medication for high blood pressure, see my doctor every 3months, Have lost 10 lbs. over the past 4 months. Yesterday I had quite a severe balance problem and needed help getting home as I was walking. Just wondering what you would recommend. I am 75 yrs. old , but am considered for my age. I walk lots, and go to exercise classes twice weekly and also do pole walking. Should I be following up with my doctor? -

Hi, Thanks for the query. I understand your concern. In my view blood pressure medicines do not cause lack of appetite. In that case it could be due to- -Salt free diet.. in case you are taking it.... you can take epsom salt . -Liver weakness secondary to wine intake... get investigated&follow specific advise. Thanks
