What Causes Arm Soreness Post Cefuroxime Intake?

I was prescribed cefuroxime 250 mg by my PCP physician on 2/26/18 for sore throat, earaches & extreme congestion. On Wednesday, 2/28/18 my left arm, upper arm became sore & very difficult to lift arm, soreness in outside upper arm, difficulty grasping & lifting arm & objects & continues now (3/3/18). Is this a reaction to this medication? Do I need to seek emergency care at a 24 hour emergency facilities? Long winded ?, I know.
