What Causes Aspirations While Drinking Fluids After Trach Tube Removal?

Hi, I recently had a trach tube removed and I noticed that I m aspirating a little when I drink fluids. I had radiation therapy and my throat hasn t quite healed yet. I still have problems swallowing. But for the most part, everything goes down. Am I in alot of danger with some fluid s going into my windpipe?

I really appreciate your concern, it is most advisable to get the tube again if there is aspiration, no need to take any risk better to have a word with doctor looking to the history given here, it is better to have tube there till everything gets alright, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
