What Causes Asymmetrical Eyes While Treating Epilepsy In An Infant?
Hi Doctor, Eye balls asymmetrical sometimes for my 1.3 year baby. Is this quit common or due to the side effect of the medicine he is taking for epilepsy (Levipil, lobozam md 5). The baby is taking these anti epilepsy medicine for past one year as prescribed by the pediatric neurologist.
Asymmetrical eyes is very less likely related to anti-epileptic medications. I would suggest you talk to your doctor regarding this or consult an ophthalmologist for the same. A past medical history and physical examination is necessary to come to a conclusion.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Manisha Auradkar, General & Family Physician
