What Causes Atrophy Of Muscles While Having Compressed Nerve On Left Buttocks?

Can artrite cause atrophy of the muscles even though I don t have any artrite pain? Can a compressed nerve cause atrophy of the muscles? I may have a compressed nerve on my left buttock, and my left leg, the muscle and the rest of it became smaller than the right leg

Arthritis doesn't cause atrophy. It is the nerve entrapment that causes muscle atrophy.
I would like to advise you to have an Urgent MRI of lumber spine and consult neurosurgeon in your vicinity, as atrophy shows severe compression.
