General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since he is experiencing psychotic symptoms while on Olanzapine, it means that either the medication is not working any longer or the dosage is not sufficient. Depending on the current dosage of Zyprexa he is taking and other clinical factors, his treating physician can decide on whether to increase the dosage, switch to another antipsychotic or add additional antipsychotics to Zyprexa.

Please be advised to follow up with his treating physician.

Hope this answers your question. Please let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Lekshmi Rita Venugopal, General & Family Physician
