What Causes Back Ache Along With Pulling Sensation In The Left Leg?

Ive had recent back pain which I saw a chiropractor for and had much relief. However, a few days ago I began to have a pulling sensation to my left leg/thigh area. It feels as though my leg is being pulled away from my torso. Last night I had muscle twitching in the thigh area and today I noticed numbness in same area. Not sure if its related to my back.

General Surgeon 's  Response
You could be having lumbar disc prolapse with nerve compression ad sciatica. Muscle twitching and numbness of the thighs or legs can be explained by this.It is important that you get an MRI of the lumbo-sacral spine for exact diagnosis. You should consult an Orthopedic surgeon for onward management, which may be conservative management including physiotherapy or some times surgery.
