Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Back Pain After Taking Crestor And Lipitor?
My doctor started me on Livalo 2 mg a week ago. I couldn t take Crestor or Lipitor without serious side effects. They both gave me excruciating back pain. I knew I might feel a little off while adjusting to Livalo, but I am experiencing general muscle weakness and stiffness and have been on the verge of tears 3 times this week. ( This is really NOT like me) Has Livalo ever been associated with adverse psychological overlay?
Livalo is not associated with psychological overlay. Reach out for some help. Everyone has their days of feeling low. Connect with friends or relatives who you know are kind and helpful. Talk to them. Involve in some hobby of your interest which doesn't take much physical effort. Find out a suitable hobby. Many like gardening and find it helpful.
Cooking is also a good hobby if you like it. Find out recipes you like and try them. Pets are also an easy way to keep you occupied. You have to identify a suitable hobby and divert your mind. If nothing works reach out to a therapist. Nothing wrong in it. They will help you find ways to deal with your lows.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Jasmine Jagan, General & Family Physician
