What Causes Back Pain While Having Pink Patch Over The Spine?
I have been experiencing back pain in the middle of my back for over a week now. on friday it began to get worse and i could not get comfy at all. Then i noticed quite a large pink patch over my spine which is sometimes lighter, sometimes darker. I had attended A and E as it got very uncomfortable at all times however they said the x ray and bloods were clear. they could not explain the pink patch at all and gave me anti inflammatory tablets and said in three days it should be fine. it s no better and the pink patch is still there. do you know what it could be?
The pink patch over back involving spine region can be part of auto immune process as neuro-fibromatosis or others. In my clinic, I do recommend a detailed neurological examination with motor, sensory pathway, reflexes, other systemic evaluation for co relation with retina and else. Kindly share with me your all reports done till now during follow up discussion so that better guidelines of cure can be figured out.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
