Hi
Thanks for posting on HCM
Lower back pain in an elderly person may be caused by many medical conditions. Some possible causes may include:
-Lower back osteoarthritis
-Disc herniation
-Sciatica
-Metastatic cancers
-And others
Treatmant options for such pain may include: different lines of pain drugs depending on pain intensity, myorelaxants, steroid shots ocassionally, physiotherapy, sugery in some cases
I will suggest you try the following:
*Take an anti-inflammatory like aceclofenac
*A myorelaxant like miorel
*Get enough rest
If pain persist, you see the Doctor for examination and other treatment options.
Hope this will help
Wish you good health
