What Causes Back Pain, dizziness And Headache After Taking Steroid Spinal Injection?
I had a steroid spinal injection today and i have some back pain and have a slight dizzy headache. We always go out on Friday and was wondering if i have a beer is that is a bad idea? I have had an injection before with no pain or after affects what so ever. This injection was not quite so easy as they had to try to go between 2 different sets--first the L4/5 and couldn t get it in so they had to go to the L3/4. Just kind of want a beer to aleviate the pain. Your thoughts?
Sometimes during spinal injection small amount of CSF leakage can cause spinal headaches or dizziness or some local pain and it resolves usually within few days with lying straight, taking fluids but alcohol and caffeine can worsen the symptoms so should better be avoided for first week preferably.
Wishing you a speedy recovery. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
