What Causes Backache After Taking Norethisterone?
Hi I am going on a trip soon and I was prescribed norethisterone to postpone my period till after my trip. I took the first dose yesterday and I having really terrible backaches now. Is this a side effect? I have not done any sports yesterday to warrant this kind of back pain. Should I stop the pills?

Backpain is not a side effect of norethisterone and do not require stopping the medication.
However if the back pain is progressing I recommend that you consult your doctor to get proper. evaluation and management accordingly
