What Causes Backache Along With Constipation?

Hi Doctor, I have a pretty messed up back however, the pain that I am having is not like I usually have. It is more like where the kidneys are and then its comes around to the gut. It was mostly on the right hand side tonight on both. I have been to clinic and E.R. they ruled out kidney stones and infections no bowel blockage I was constipated and now I poop almost every time I go to the bathroom. The heating pad helped my back tonight but the pain in the gut kind of scares me. Any suggestions? New insurance this year need to find a new doctor, etc. I drink lots of water a pee often, I have had 2 prolapsed bladders also. Thank you for any advice or info you can pass on. I have no credit card or pay pal, so I guess I will take my pill and go to bed.

Hello,

As per your clinical history is concerned, please follow the below treatment plan:

1) Do a clinical examination by your Doctor [gastroenterologist] and do few tests like [Colonoscopy, stool exam and MRI scan].

2) Eliminating high-gas foods like carbonated beverages, vegetables especially cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower and raw fruits.

3) Try to eliminate FODMAPs from diets, discuss with a dietitian.

4) Do take a fiber supplement like [Metamucil] along with laxative [polyethylene glycol] for constipation.

Discuss prescription medications like:
a) [Dicyclomine] for bowel spasm
b) [Rifaximin] for infection along with pro-biotic
c) Do yoga and meditation regularly
