What Causes Backache Along With Nausea And Stomach Cramps?

I have back pain in flanks, nauseous and some cramping slight headache and feeling really weak the past few days. I am concerned because I was due to start my period at least 5 days ago. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative. Symptoms could be PMS, but concerned that it could be a kidney infection. I have no insurance so going in to Dr is last resort

Hi,

I would explain that a kidney infection cannot be excluded considering the pain in the flanks.

For this reason, I recommend performing a urine analysis and a complete blood count, just to be sure that everything is ok.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka,
Cardiologist
