What Causes Backache Along With Palpitations And Arm Ache?
Yesterday I woke up with a back ache but that went away not long after moving around and getting ready for work. I went downs grabbed a tote and hurried back upstairs to use the rest room, as I was sitting there my heart was pounding very hard. It went away a few minutes later. About an hour or so after that I was at my desk at work and my left arm felt like someone had punched me. My arm was sore and somewhat weak for a few hours. Then today after leaving the grocery store I noticed my arm starting hurting again. It does not hurt right now my it is a little concerning. I am a 51 year old female.
The probable reason for your discomfort might be nerve compression. But we should not rule out the other possibilities (heart diseases like MI & angina). Because sometimes there may be silent heart diseases. On safe side it is better to for the following investigations to exclude any possibility of heart disease: 1. ECG 2. 2D Echo 3. CPK and LDH
Coming to treatment you have to follow the below: 1. Non steroidal anti inflammatory drug 2. Steroids 3. physiotherapy can help
No need to worry, if any abnormality is found in investigations, you can consult us at any time. Otherwise the above measure would be sufficient. Hope you would recover soon.
