What Causes Backache And Vomiting After A Stress Test?

My husband had a stress test this morning, this evening he is have severe back pain, and stomach issues, vomiting. I read on web md that these were intermediate reactions. We live 40 miles from the hospital. Will these go away, what could he take, or do I need to get him to the hospital?

Hello,

After the stress test, you can feel a backache for sometimes. For pain, you can take tablet Diclofenac and apply Diclofenac gel or ointment locally.

But vomiting is not symptoms after stress test. Over exertion may be the cause for that. You can take the tablet Ondansetron. In case of repeated vomiting, consult with your physician.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
