Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pain on my right side, towards the back, which I associate with sleeping badly and pulling a muscle. The pain has now centralized in my right testicle. I can not get a doctor s appointment until Tuesday and am in pain. Taking Tylenol and limiting movement. But I have a convention for work that started tomorrow morning. I have to go and there will be walking involved, is there something I can do or take to treat the pain?
Hello and welcome to HCM. The pain in right back then getting into right testicle may be because of right uretric/renal stone.Another possibility may be right sided appendicitis. If I were your treating doctor,I recommend, -Tablet meftal spas or dicyclomine for relief of pain -Have adequate intake of water.Minimum 8-10 glasses of water required everyday. -Investigations like USG abdo pelvis may be required.Antibiotics like cipro may be given. -Further management (invasive if required) depends on USG results and response to conservative treatment. Hope this information helps. Thanks
