What Causes Backache On The Right Side?

Hi, I had my gall bladder removed in 2013. Lately I have been having similar symptons as I had when I had my gall bladder. Right side of my back hurting and right side of my belly especially after eating a meal. I am guessing it is the thype of food I am eating but am not certain.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I am sorry for the health problems you are going through.

It is important to avoid certain foods when you get your gallbladder removed.
This is because the bile is not produced properly.
Only the bile ducts inside the liver can produce a minimal amount but still not sufficient.

When oily foods are consumed, it will be hard to digest explaining your symptoms.
Other foods include processed foods, spicy/chilli/fried etc.

Take antacids when having stomach pain or burning sensation.

Have your meals regularly.
Wish fast recovery.
