Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello,I am a 30 year old female with no prior health problems and got bacterial pneumonia. How common is this in people my age who have no prior lung problems? Is it likely that my living in a damp climate has to do with it, especially since I am originally from dry Arizona? Lastly, do you have any advice for how to improve lung health as I recover? I am taking Levofloxacin for 7 days as treatment. Thank you
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, pneumonia is infection caused by bacteria and it is not normal condition it could be common but not normal one, with the proper diagnosis and treatment it gets alright, hope this information may helps, take care and have a nice day.
