What Causes Bad Aftertaste And Malodorous Urine?

After having a recent cold for almost 3 weeks 3 months ago I had lost my taste for a couple weeks. I was given flonase and not long after I got my taste back. However I kept getting this after taste whenever i ate food such peanuts or potato chips. I just dismissed it as an effect of the flonase. However now for the past 2 weeks the same after taste has become the smell that come from my urine and it is now more present in my nostrils. I just think something is just not right. Should I consider a urine immediately?

Hi,

There are many potential causes of bad aftertaste and malodorous urine, some of which are related to medical conditions. The aftertaste you are experiencing may be related to the use of Flonase, as this medication can cause a bitter taste in the mouth. However, it is also possible that the aftertaste and malodorous urine are unrelated and may be caused by another underlying condition.

One possible cause of malodorous urine is a urinary tract infection (UTI). UTIs are bacterial infections that can cause a variety of symptoms, including painful urination, frequent urination, and strong-smelling urine. Other possible causes of malodorous urine include dehydration, certain medications, and certain medical conditions such as liver disease.

Given that you have been experiencing these symptoms for several weeks, it is a good idea to see a healthcare provider for evaluation. A urine test can be done to check for a UTI or other underlying conditions that may be causing these symptoms. In the meantime, it is important to stay hydrated and maintain good hygiene practices to prevent any potential infections.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
