What Causes Bad Breath And Skin Discoloration After Increasing The Dosage Of Adderall?
Hi, I ve been taking adderall for a few years now, but recently had my dosage increased. I have all of the other common side effects such as hot & cold flashes, dizziness, etc but I also get cotton-mouth, bad breath, and skin discoloration. My skin becomes a darker and duller color with faint blotches. Why does my skin change color and why do I get bad breath and cotton mouth?
Hello, Thanks for writing to HCM. Adderall is a combination of dextroamphetamine and amphetamine .It is used generally in atention deficit hyperactive disorders. It is a stimulant drug, thus constricting blood vessels and causing various changes like dry mouth, skin rashes and discolouration and flushes - hot and cold. Kindly consult your psychiatrist about dose adjustment at the earliest. The dosage may need to be reduced. Reagrds, Dr.Riyanka
