What Causes Bad Odour To The Vagina During Intercourse?

hello I Would just like to ask; I m currently having a not so pleasant odour in my vagina, not fishy, more vinegerish nd stuffy. I only become aware of the smell at the beginning of sexual inter course-its also extremely a wet feeling. my discharge looks normal and not stinky, but occurs frequently. I also use triphesils as a contraception. what could basically be the problem? Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Bad odour can be due to bacterial vaginosis or yeast infection. It is better to go for a vaginal examination by a gynecologist and a swab test to rule out this. Vaginal suppositories with clindamycin and clotrimazole will be helpful in such case also. You can also use intimate wash regularly to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
