What Causes Bad Taste In Mouth And Wheezing While On Medication For COPD?
Thankyou, I have COPD for sure , Itake medications given my doctors. Ihave discussed the problem Ihave with my Thank you, I have COPD and take medications forthis problem. Ihave a problem and at this my Thank You I have COPD and dotake medications for this. I have an additional problem, that at this time, theDoctor does have an anser to what is the cause. I caugh somewhat deep in my thorat area, My whessing is somewhat bad,my breathingis difficalf at times, inthe last few weeks I have started having a bad taste in mouth uasully after caughing, and it is a bad taste. My doctor has just giving me a medication, Refenesen 400 MG tablet three times a day,for congestion/COPD. Do you have an answer to what is causing the bad taste and whessing, etc. d

Hi,
The medication you are taking for copd...must be having antibiotic. This causes depleation of normal bacterial flora in intestines.
So Bcomplex synthesis by these normal bacteria is hampered & the taste buds in mouth can not sence test & this the taste of food and mouth itself is derranged to cause bad taste in mouth.
The broncho constriction & excessive mucus discharge from inflammed bronchi, in copd causes wheezing.
Please consult a chest physician for expert advise to check the problems& advise specific treatment.
