What Causes Bed Sores On Hip Along With Swelling In Legs?
My mother is unable to get out of bed anymore but the pass few day he is getting a blister on hip foot and other hip i don t know why or what it is. Her feet, legs and hand is swelling. She also has a spot on her butt that came up about the same time . It isn t a hemorrhoids. Ty Deb
The blister on her foot may be an early bed sore in that area, since she isn't able to get up and move around like before.
You would need to reduce the pressure on the foot by alternating the pressure and also by using ankle pads.
The swelling would also be due to decreased movement, decreased ambulation can cause swelling of the limbs though other causes of swelling such as heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease should also be ruled out by blood tests , ECG.
I hope this helps
