What Causes Behavioral Changes After Giving Ritalan To Child?
My son is 9 yrs old and he just recently started on Ritalin LA 10mg. He is very moody and angry and has attempted to fight me when I try to discipline him. Is this normal on this type of medication. I only give it to him during school days. I was very skeptical on putting him on any medications and now I see why. Please help.

I really appreciate your concern, such behavior is nothing to taken anything with the medicine he is taking but it is you who has to take care while handling him, you have to be alert and need to talk with him in that manner only but along with this he must be gradually given lesion for this too that how to behave decently, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
