What Causes Belching And Choking Sensation In The Throat While Having GERD?

I have gerd ,belching ,trapped air in chest and difficulty swallowing dense starchy foods. It feels like it gets stuck in lower esophagus(just started a few days ago), should I be worried about this being throat cancer,or is this just common of severe GERD? I have never smoked,have no cough. I am 36 year old female, vegetarian for 21 years and have celiacs.

Hi getting an occasional attack of GERD is common and not harmful. It will not lead to cancer. But if it keeps repeating then it can lead to cancer due to constant injury due to the acid regurgitation. At present take Omeprazole with Domperidone for a week--regards
