What Causes Belching And Severe Pain In The Abdomen?

I am a 39 yr old female I have been having a lot of sharp, stabbing at times , but constant pain in my stomach that also comes with belching even drinking water . I stay bloated . this is an all a day occurrence .. I am very uncomfortable all the time . what can I do . my insurance wont agree to the ct scan the GI specialist my primary physician referred to has ordered.
