What Causes Black And Blue Discoloration On The Penis?

Upon seeing my husband coming out of the shower this morning I noticed his penis was black and blue. Upon further inspection I noticed a very hard linear ridge or lump going across the entire width of his penis. He won t tell me what happened and will not consult a Dr. He says there is no pain but this bump or ridge is new and his penis now deviates to the right a bit and his erection isn t very rigid. Please help I m worried about long term damage he may have caused. Thank you.

Hi,

What you saw blue and black rigid lump along the penile shaft is just a dilated vein filled with blood. It is a totally normal thing.

And deviation of the penis while erection occurs with most of the people, in that case also no problem and that is not due to any disease. A poor erection while intercourse may be due to anxiety.

So, everything is normal. So, no need to worry. Give him anxiolytic drug like fluoxetine 10 mg daily for good performance.
